Police investigating 'serious assault' at Dunedin Six60 concert

Police are looking into a serious assault at a Six60 concert in Dunedin on Saturday night.

The attack, which took place near the queue for alcohol at Forsyth Barr Stadium, has left a man in hospital with serious injuries.

The assault took place at about 8:30pm, police said in a statement to media.

A 29-year-old man is due to appear in Dunedin District Court on Monday, March 11. He is facing a charge of wounding with intent.

Dunedin Police are still probing the case, and enquiries are ongoing.

They would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the assault, or has relevant cellphone footage.
