A crash involving a car and a cyclist has closed Te Rapa Rd in Te Rapa, a suburb in northwest Hamilton.
Emergency services were called to the scene at 1:30pm, and are still in attendance.
Initial indications are that the cyclist is seriously injured, according to police.
Diversions are in place, and motorists are asked to avoid the area.
