Waikato police are calling for witnesses after a car involved in a serious crash burst into flames on State Highway 31.
Emergency services were called to the wreckage at 2.55pm on Monday, after a car and a campervan collided near Otorohanga.
One of the vehicles involved in the crash burst into flames, which quickly spread to the surrounding vegetation.

One person was seriously injured, and two others sustained moderate injuries.
Police want to speak to anyone who saw the vehicles being driven before the crash, or anyone who witnessed the crash itself.
