Despite telling ratepayers in 2016 that not one more metre of the harbour should be in-filled, Mayor Phil Goff wants to go ahead with an extension to Queen's Wharf.
The benefit? Bigger cruise ships and more spending. The disadvantage? Another chunk of Waitemata Harbour taken away from Aucklanders.
