Eighty fire crews are battling a large blaze at an industrial building in south Auckland.
The fire broke out at an address on Neilson Street in Onehunga on Sunday. Photos from the scene show thick black smoke rising into the air.
Fourteen fire trucks plus specialist units are at the scene in Neilson Street, a Fire and Emergency NZ spokesperson confirmed to Newshub.
The road has been closed and emergency services have asked people to avoid the area.
It's believed the address of the blaze is home to the Argus Fire Protection office.
"More ambulances on way to fire. I hope everyone is OK," a witness tweeted.
