Two French nationals are facing charges after being found with $50,000 worth of cannabis in their car in Queenstown.
Police said a member of the public tipped them off after noticing a strong smell from a vehicle.
A subsequent search revealed 2.4 kilograms of cannabis packaged into one ounce bags.
A 27-year-old and 23-year-old are due in court on Monday, police said.
