Christchurch terror attack: Teen granted bail for sharing objectionable material

An 18-year-old charged with possessing objectionable material from the Christchurch mosque shootings, has been granted electronically monitored bail.

The teen, who has name suppression, is also charged with behaving in a threatening manner and entered no pleas when he appeared in the Christchurch District Court on Wednesday.

His bail conditions include not going within 200 metres of a mosque or church.

He's one of six charged with possessing or distributing the objectionable material, and has been remanded to reappear on May 13.
