A crash in Horowhenua is being described as serious.
Two people were injured when two cars collided at about 11:25am on State Highway 57 near Shannon, police said.
One is critical and the other serious.
There are diversions in place at the intersections of SH 57/Tavistock Rd and SH 57/Shannon-Foxton Rd.
So far there have been no road fatalities this Easter weekend.
