Akustino Tae pleads not guilty to attempted murder of Killer Beez leader Josh Masters

The man accused of shooting Killer Beez leader Josh Masters pleaded not guilty on Wednesday.

Tribesman gang member Akustino Tae was charged with attempted murder after allegedly shooting Masters in the back in April.

He appeared via videolink in the Auckland High Court and his three-week trial has been set down for June 8, 2020.

He has been remanded in custody and faces a maximum penalty of 14 years imprisonment if convicted.
