Armed police have blocked off a road in the south Auckland suburb of Otahuhu after a death.
Emergency services were called to Seaside Park on Brady Rd at 4:40am, where they found a critically injured man.
He died at the scene, despite medical attention.
A homicide investigation has been launched.
Activities scheduled at the part on Saturday have been cancelled.
