One person has died in a truck crash in Northland.
Police were called to the scene of a single-vehicle crash near the intersection of State Highway 1 and Settlement Rd in Kaiwaka on Tuesday morning.
A truck went down a bank and the driver died at the scene, police say.
The Serious Crash Unit is at the scene and an investigation into the cause of the crash has begun.
