A man has been jailed for 10 years and six months after shaking his 4-week-old baby and causing fatal injuries.
Hayden Anthony Gray, 32, appeared in court on Thursday. His former partner, and the baby's mother, told him she could never forgive him.

Gray was found guilty on two charges of intentionally causing grievous bodily harm after shaking 4-week-old Carter Hutton in July 2017, reports the New Zealand Herald.
Carter died a year and one day after suffering the fatal injuries.
As Carter died several hours after the one-year time limitation period, the Crown could only charge Gray with intentional grievous bodily harm instead of manslaughter or murder.
Carter's mother said the death was preventable, and Gray never admitted he was struggling to parent the infant. Gray reportedly assaulted the child numerous times.
Carter's mother addressed Gray in court: "Hayden, what you did to my little boy has ruined my life and my family forever," NZME reported.
"Life will never be the same again."
