Man who attacked Green Party co-leader James Shaw pleads guilty

The man accused of attacking Green Party co-leader James Shaw has entered a guilty plea.

The 47-year-old, who has name suppression, re-appeared in the Wellington District Court on Monday morning.

Climate Change Minister Shaw was assaulted while walking to Parliament in March.

He was hit in the face and suffered a suspected fractured eye socket.
