A man has been flown to Christchurch Hospital with serious injuries after a car was driven off a road.
Emergency services were called to the incident shortly before 1pm on Christchurch's Summit Rd.
Dramatic video footage shows the seriously injured man being winched from the vehicle by rescue helicopter crews.
A police spokesperson said the Serious Crash Unit is investigating.
