A car has smashed into a garage southeast of Tauranga, killing two people.
Another two were injured just after 1:30am crash in Te Puke, on No 1 Rd between Lomay Pl and Roderick Ln.
The serious crash unit is investigating, but the road is open.
This year's road toll to date is almost 200.
