A Wellington motel had some unexpected guests Sunday morning, as firefighters arrived to put out a blaze.
Fire and Emergency was called to the Harbour City Motor Inn in the central city around 8am.
The fire began on the second floor, but has now been extinguished.
No one was injured and an investigation is underway.
