A 30-year-old man has been arrested after a 10-month-old baby was seriously injured on the West Coast.
The infant was airlifted from Hokitika to Christchurch Hospital on Tuesday where he remains in a critical condition.
The man has been charged with one count of wounding with intent, and will appear in the Christchurch District Court on Wednesday.
