Martin Sellner gets his Christchurch money back

Victim Support has been in touch with a European far-right leader to reimburse a donation he gave to the Christchurch mosque attack victims

It was revealed that Martin Sellner, head of the Identitarian movement, gave part of a fund that he had received from alleged shooter Brenton Tarrant to the cause.

However, Victim Support says it would be inappropriate for it to be accepted..

Sellner has been in contact with the organisation, and the money will be given back to him.

It was earlier reported if he didn't claim it back, the money would be donated to an anti-racism charity.

Following the Christchurch shootings on March 15, it emerged the gunman had given Sellner £1500 as a donation towards his Austrian anti-immigration movement. Sellner says he gave half to the victims of Christchurch and the other half to a project in Syria.
