A person has died in a crash in Waikato.
Police said in a statement that a crash involving two cars occurred at 6:20pm on Waipapa Rd near Mangakino.
One person has died while another has serious injuries.
Traffic is being diverted through the Mangakino township while emergency services are at the scene.
