Countdown shopper snaps ute 'hooning' after Mini

An Auckland man has shared shocking footage of a ute chasing a Mini Cooper around a Countdown carpark in what appears to be a road rage incident.

Blockhouse Bay resident Logan Loye posted the video to a public community Facebook group on Sunday.

"The Mini driver reversed in front of the ute driver, from what I saw," he told Newshub.

Loye believes the driver of the ute had a child in the backseat, and wrote the person had "no right to drive like that".

The post attracted more than 140 likes and almost 70 comments, according to social analytics tool CrowdTangle.

Many Facebook users were outraged, with some commenting on how disappointed they were in the "irresponsible" ute driver.

"Kids are more important than petty anger issues... What an irresponsible person," one person wrote.

Loye says he has not reported the incident to authorities.
