Things were getting desperate after a young Kiwi bird got lost in the mountains of Fox Glacier.
After two failed attempts to locate them, Search and Rescue were called in.
The Project had the opportunity to join the operation, which included a land and air search as teams hunted for the missing bird that had gone walkabout up the mountain.
