Firefighters are still working to put out a large blaze at a food processing plant in west Auckland hours after it broke out.
Crews were called to Portage Rd in New Lynn at around 3am on Saturday.
Fire and Emergency shift manager Daniel Nicholson says it is unclear how the fire started.
"It's a two-storey building. The fire was located inside the building."
Fourteen crews showed up to quell the flames.
Nicholson says nobody was inside the building at the time.
