A manhunt is underway after a stolen van was found with the body of a man inside it in Waikato.
The vehicle was found on Gordonton Rd near Raglan on Friday morning.
It came after police received reports of a "serious incident" on Whaanga Rd at 3:20am, 80km away from where the van was found.
It's believed the White 2017 Toyota Hiace ZL with registration KWF362 travelled from Whaanga Rd to Gordonton Rd.
At 11:40am, police were still at the scene with forensics. A blue tent has been erected around the van on Puke Rd.
Insp Graham Pitkethley says police want to hear from anyone who may have seen the vehicle or may have information that could be helpful.
