One person has been killed after crashing into a tree south of Rotorua.
Emergency services were called to Dun Rd, near Kaingaroa Forest, at around 9:30am on Sunday.
The person was the only one in the car at the time.
Meanwhile, one person is in serious condition after colliding with a tree in Otago.
Police were called to Beaumont on State Highway 3 at around 1:30am.
