One person has serious injuries after being rescued from a house fire in the Auckland suburb of Mt Eden.
Emergency services were called to Edenvale Cres about 4:40pm, where a back unit of a block of flats was ablaze. Four fire crews are in attendance.
A Fire and Emergency New Zealand spokesperson told Newshub the house was well involved when crews arrived at the scene.
The spokesperson said the rescued person was being attended to by St John.
