Three people have been flown to hospital after a car crashed into a bridge south of Rotorua on Friday morning.
Emergency services were called to Whirinaki Valley Rd off State Highway 30 near Atiamuri just after 2am.
One person had to be cut out of the car. Two people received serious injuries, while the other has moderate injuries.
The group were flown to Rotorua Hospital.
