New research by Women's Refuge illustrates the terrifying reality of stalking and how difficult it can be for victims to get help.
CEO Ang Jury spoke to The AM Show about the various behaviours stalkers use, from leaving flowers on doorsteps to sending hundreds of texts to tracking their victims via GPS.
She says it can be very hard for victims to get protection orders without visible physical evidence such as assault, and says changes to the Harassment Act are urgently needed.
