Representatives from the University of Otago and the university's student association addressed media following the death of a student at a party on Saturday.
Sophia Crestani, 19, is understood to have died at an out of control Dunedin house party on Saturday night.

While a police investigation is still underway, the university's vice-chancellor, Harlene Hayne, and student association president, James Heath, spoke to media about support being offered to Crestani's family and the wider university community.
