A man has been assaulted in central Dunedin and police are appealing for witnesses.
In the early hours of Saturday morning, police received reports that a man had been assaulted by two unknown males outside Rodgers House.
The two offenders ran south down Princes Street towards Queens Gardens. Their victim was taken to hospital in a serious condition and is still recovering.
Police are seeking information from anyone who witnessed the incident or has information which could help.
