Nine people have been injured following a crash in the Mackenzie District, in Canterbury.
Two vehicles were involved in the incident, police said.
The crash occurred around 2:30pm on Tuesday on Hayman and Tekapo-Twizel Roads.
Police and emergency services were at the scene.
According to St John Ambulance, all injuries were minor and no one was taken to hospital.
