A person is missing and two people were injured after a boat overturned on the Waitaki River, south of Timaru.
A helicopter has been dispatched and Search and Rescue is involved.
St John Ambulance said it's attended to two other people at a nearby property, one with minor injuries while the other sustained moderate injuries.
