100,000 Kiwis with undiagnosed diabetes

November is Diabetes Action Month. 

Around 250,000 Kiwis are affected by the condition and there are 100,000 people who are undiagnosed, which leads to serious health issues. 

So how do we recognise the symptoms and what can we do to help prevent it in the first place?

The AM Show spoke to Diabetes NZ chief executive Heather Verry to find out.
