Four property investors have been charged with fraudulently obtaining millions of dollars in home loans.
The Serious Fraud Office alleges Bryan Martin, Viki Cotter, Sian Grant and Joshua Grant deceived banks into providing them with loans to purchase residential properties, mostly in Auckland.
Martin faces 10 charges of obtaining by deception and four of attempted obtaining by deception, while Cotter faces four charges of obtaining by deception and three of attempted obtaining by deception, and the Grants each face four charges of obtaining by deception and one charge of attempted obtaining by deception.
All have pleaded not guilty and have been remanded on bail to reappear in court in February.
