A large blaze is being attended by fire crews at Te Mata Peak in Hawke's Bay.
A Fire and Emergency (FENZ) spokesperson told Newshub that a fire was reported at 8:13pm on Thursday on the western side of Te Mata Peak, located roughly 12 kilometres south of Hastings.
The spokesperson described the fire as 100 by 200 metres in size.
Three rural and three urban firetrucks are currently at the scene with helicopters on standby.
