A person has been seriously injured after an e-scooter incident near Western Springs in Auckland.
Emergency services are on the scene of the "serious incident" after police received a report at around 7:35pm on Sunday.
Police say the incident occurred on Great North Road in Grey Lynn, near the intersection with Bullock Track.
The person has been transported to hospital. No further details have been released as police continue to make enquiries.
Cordons are currently in place around the scene of the incident but the road remains open. Police advise people to avoid the area if possible.
