Police are searching for a "dangerous" man after the death of a 22-year-old woman in Invercargill.
Police were called to a North Road, Waikiwi address around 11:00am on Sunday after receiving a "report of concern". When officers arrived they found the woman dead.
They're now looking for Samuel Samson in relation to the incident.
Samson, 31, is considered dangerous and police say he shouldn't be approached.
"Anyone who has seen Samson or has information regarding his whereabouts should call 111 immediately," a police statement said.
"Information can also be provided anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
Specialist investigators are continuing to work at the property where the victim was found.
