Auckland fire crews managed to bring two house fires under control overnight.
Emergency services were first called to Main Highway in Mount Wellington at 9pm.
They were then called to Dungarvon Place in Clendon Park shortly before 2am.
Investigators will visit both scenes Thursday morning.
