A pedestrian has been killed after being hit by a train in south Auckland.
Emergency services were called to the incident on Hospital Rd in Mangere, around 12:30am on Saturday.
The victim was taken to Middlemore Hospital, but later died.
It's the second incident involving a train on Saturday, and happened only hours before a collision in Morrinsville, where two people died.
