Nelson Police are seeking information from the public after an alleged assault on December 11.
A 20-year-old man was arrested for abduction and aggravated assault on Thursday following the assault of a woman.
On Saturday December 7 at about 2:15am, Nelson Police received a report of a woman being assaulted while walking along Waimea Road.
Any witnesses who may have been travelling along this road during this time, particularly those who saw a man following a woman, are being urged to contact Police. They were walking on the west side of Waimea Road towards Bishopdale.
Police are also interested in speaking to anyone who may have been approached in the Nelson CBD on Friday evening, December 6 by a man wearing either a green camouflaged top or a red-hooded top.
