Two people are dead after a car and train collided near Morrinsville, Waikato.
The crash happened just after 4am at the intersection of Piako Rd and State Highway 26.
Two died at the scene. Police haven't said yet if they were in the car or the train.
The road is closed with diversions in place, and police are investigating.
