A 53-year-old man has been arrested after two young girls were "indecently spoken to" at the Bay of Plenty's Otarawairere Beach on Wednesday.
Whakatāne Police say the man has been taken into custody and is due to appear in the Whakatāne District Court on Monday, January 13.
As the matter is before the Court, police won't make further comment at this stage.
