Two people are hospitalised after sustaining serious injuries during a two-vehicle collision on Auckland's Northwestern Motorway on Wednesday afternoon.
The serious crash closed SH16 between the Hobsonville Road interchange and the Brigham Creek roundabout for roughly two hours, leading to a build up of traffic and delays for commuters.
As of 6:50pm, the New Zealand Transport Agency (NZTA) confirmed the motorway has been reopened after closures in the southbound and northbound lanes.
A police spokesperson told Newshub the Serious Crash Unit attended and conducted an examination.
