A gas leak caused by a truck crash in Mount Wellington, Auckland has been secured.
The truck smashed into a gas main at 9:30am on Monday, causing buildings on Carbine Road to evacuate.
Police have now stood down all cordons and all those evacuated have been allowed to return.
A section of Carbine Road was closed but has since reopened.
