A large vegetation fire on Mt Richmond in the Auckland suburb of Mt Wellington has now been extinguished.
Twenty-four firefighters were called on Saturday morning to fight the blaze, Fire and Emergency NZ (FENZ) says.
At its peak, the fire was 300m x 200m and took two hours to extinguish.
FENZ says all fire crews are still in attendance and are dampening the area down now.
It's still unclear what caused the fire.
