Firefighters are battling a large house fire in Otahuhu, south Auckland.
Four trucks and 20 firefighters are at the scene.
Crews arrived at the Awa Street property around 6am on Wednesday.
It was initially feared people were inside the house, but it is now believed to be empty.
The blaze is under control.
