An appeal for information has been made by police after a woman was indecently assaulted at Nelson's Bay Dreams festival earlier this month.
The incident happened at the main stage of the Trafalgar Park festival between 10pm and 11pm on January 4.
Police said the woman was in the middle of a large crowd watching the final act of the night when the incident unfolded.
It's believed the alleged offender was in his mid-20s, about 190cm tall and of a lean build with sun-tanned complexion.
"The man was wearing a distinctive high visibility orange mesh vest and may have been with a group of similar-aged males," police said in a statement.
