A woman is dead following a paragliding crash in Canterbury.
Emergency services rushed to the scene near Mt Cheeseman ski area at 1:45pm on Tuesday, but the 37-year-old woman died at the scene.
Police are investigating the circumstances of the crash and the Civil Aviation Authority has been notified.
