A 22-year-old man is wanted by the police following a shooting in Christchurch.
The incident, where a man was shot in the shoulder, took place on Sunday evening in the suburb of Woolston.
Police on Tuesday identified the suspect as Jesse Grimwood, adding he shouldn't be approached.

"Anyone with information on where he may be is asked to contact police, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
Detective Sergeant Jo Carolan said the incident happened about 8:20pm on Sunday, near the intersection of Radley St and Ferry Rd.
"He remains in hospital today [Monday] in a serious but stable condition.
"The offender was travelling in a vehicle and left the scene immediately following the shooting.
"Police believe those involved in this incident are known to each other and there is no risk to the general public," Det Sgt Carolan said on Monday.
She said anyone who was in the area at the time should contact police.
