Two people have been injured after a car went off the road and down a bank near Lake Monowai, in the lower South Island.
Police, St John and Fire and Emergency were called to the accident on Borland Road at around 5:30pm on Sunday.
"Two people were in the vehicle and both were reported to have sustained moderate injuries," a police spokesperson told Newshub.
Both have been taken to Southland Hospital via helicopter.
