A body has been found on a Tauranga walkway on Friday morning.
Police were at the scene near a central city walkway between Sixth Avenue and Takitimu Drive.
"Police are attending a sudden death incident."
Police told Newshub they do not believe the death is suspicious but are still investigating.
The walkway has been cordoned off and the police are asking the public to avoid the area.
